Default black number plates?

hey are black number plates legal for a h reg series 2 escort?

black with sliver letters or will i get the old bill pulling me over all the time?

iv seen quite a few rs turbos around my area appearing with black number plates.. well i think theres a crew of about 3 cars who are useing them and they luk the nuts... in heathrow. i got a white car and think they will look the part..

the reg its self has to be a certain year old, H plate will be a illegal it was years and years b4 that.

you probs get fined everytime they pull you over.

lol i guess ill have to take my chance.... cuz they luk the part... but they probly dont stick out as much on a black car as much a white car wud?

i got stopped but let off with a warning and told to change them, you will pass an MOT but they are illegal, fucking stupid if you ask me

But IF I actually ever used the car then I wouldn't do - The point is, if you live in a city and use your car every day, don't run them because it will just give the c*nt traffic cops something to do

I carry my ordinary plates in my boot with screws (as my black ones are just stuck on ) and I play the "Oh...shit i've just come from a meet/show and totally forgot to change them back..." card.

lolll i only drive the car rarely but heathrow is a bit of cra p area for getting stopped.. i may get them and keep a spare set in the boot just in case.. play that oh i forgot card... lol

illegal if the car is newer than a certain date

the black number plates were used many years ago ad were replaced wit yellow ones for better visability

I actually left my black plate on coming home from Brunters, then to the Essex Meet..... Then the way home..... All becuse I forgot, officer.

I usually use a fully legal rear one though because not having a front one at all they will think I am just taking the piss.
