Drag racing happens down the dock area around ipswich for money, i know that much, decent cars too, know a esc cossie and R32GTR thats both been involved in the past.

If it was drag racing for cash, id do it, easy money, jus tell me where

I once raced a Supra turbo on the M25 for £100 at 2am in the morning. I was at work doing a nightshift and bored. Some idiot added me to msn and said that his mate with a Supra would race me for money any day of the week. At first I was thinking "yeah great, big deal". As I was completly bored I said how's about in 20 mins? I was surprised that he turned up...what a total gimp, car looked $hit however he gave it some gun. Roads were clear at that time....we would both cruise from junction 20 to 19 and then floor it from 19 and see who ever got to junction 18 first to win the race. Was waiting for ages at the junction at the end...expected him to drive off however he stopped and have me the cash!

Only on bikes mate - cash. If anyone knows Cadnam junction on M27 near Southampton. Used to do 5 laps of the small dual cariageway with roundabouts at either end under the M27 when I was at University in mid 90's. Funnily enough I wrote my 250 off there.... If the old bill turned up - just scattered back into New Forest.....

Wouldn't do it in a car though - you're not anonymous, and it's a lot harder to out run the cops!!!

No done it, but im near Chav city for all the bling (ahem!) saxos with big bits o plastic, and im quite well known for bein a speed junkie.

Heard about some races for cash round that way (we r near the M74 and M8) but anyone i ever challenged to a race from glasgow to edinburgh shat out of it (Midnight racer stylee......150mph @4am on a sun night..lol)

 

There is still quite a bit going on in Brum down by the railway, I haven't been for a couple of years myself but a few of my mates went the other week and said it is still packed out...

Hardly deserted though, but if you look around you will find some people to sneak off for a race with! (Just be careful not to get your head blown off )

 

so no ones actually put there car up? could be quite a good way of makin i livin but risky tho

 

Down my way I reckon its far too risky, lots of sleepers V8 charged Capri, sierra 1.8 as standard looking as it gets jacked up like a tractor on steels with a 360bhp cossie lump. Its only worth it if you know what your racing and the car you might win is worth losing your license or even your own car for.

Imagine you would not only lose the race but your bloody car aswell, fook that

I know dem cars well bruv & that Capri is fookin quick - never seen a 2wd launch like that ! but once rollin even with his NOS on there was nothin init at all ! As for the Sierra, LOL you know it means business when you see that ting ya know !

But what bout the Azura Sierra Hatchback runnin 350 Hp ? ? ? Rob's makes me die man LOL.

I always offered to run for cash down Southers at that strip round back of Maccy Dee's but no took me up on the offer !
