Wot will i have 2 do 2 fit 18" alloys on my mk4 escort cab??? It has cossie front brakes and rear disc conversion will that make any difference???

 

u k mate ive seen a scort from brixham a turbo cab on 18s so can be dun probly need the arhes rolled rite back maybe remove the plastic trim inside the arches?? go see ray at wheel power mate he can roll arches

is urs the aspen blue cabbie from tq ????

also ive got front cossie breaks and im runnin on 16s and its close but fine makes the discs look massive

 

Hello mate... not aspen blue... its pacifica blue 500se cab. Live in Paignton really but Torquays a bit more heard of. Want 18s but if to much hassle will settle for 17s. I have seen a rst on 18s... was told to get different offset and use spacers but got no idea wot he ment. Need a gearbox first... Just got a chip and the fuckin gear box packed in. Nice rs mate looks good on those rims.

 

You'll need to take out the inner arch liners, and slightly roll the arch lip, I had 18's on my Mk 4 escort about 3 years ago and thats all I did, passed the MOT every time like that, oh and it had a 40mm drop on Spax Springs! HTH

 

steveb u should go for 17s and a phatt drop lowered mine by 60mm and its phatt ill post sum pics 2moro looks mad bit to boncey tho
i didnt have to do much tho the arches where alrady rolled and all lining taken out

not sure if i can get in there now tho coz of the zorstpipe hitting on the speedbump on the way in
the bumper was cut from the lad before sean did a good job looks sweet and factory look and fink he put the RS logo on the interwarmer
the cars chipped intercooler etc... and boostin 15-16psi so its hopefuly pushing over 180 got told it was more but wanna get it set up before i let her ripp

I go lookin 4 racers most nites when the cars runnin... drive it hard all day long... cant help it!!! Only got it turbo'd in march... im on the 2nd engine, and gearbox startin 2 get expensive now. How do u put pics on here???
