I just joined, am interested in if anyone knows what the options are for tuning an Ford Escort 1.8TDi. Mines already been mechanically tuned to gain 110bhp but I was wondering what more can I do and roughly what sort of price they will cost?

Larger turbo? Larger intercooler/charge air cooler? propane/nos?

I'd like to see a TDCi lump transplanted into an Escort. That'd be so much better cos obviously the Escort DERV lump is mechanical, so u ain't gonna squeeze much more out of it than you already have to be fair

 

don't think a tdci lump will fit, or will it?

I can't see any conceivable reason why a 2.0 TDCi wouldnt fit in. Stated 130BHP as standard, but as we've seen, they're probably all pushing about 145 out the box
