well, I've been a member for quite some time now, but have only really posted in fits and starts and I was mainly a member of another site, which I was very active on, but that appears to be overrun by chavs and arseholes now, so looks like you'll be seeing a lot more of me from now on
Love this site anyway, soooooo many quality motors, keep up the good work lads and lasses

Escort is currently getting a Maxi F2 wide arch kit and roof scoop and other bits of bodywork
then it's off for serious brake and suspension work, carbon fibre bonnet, additions to make the cage a bit better function-wise
then a 4x4 Cossie floorpan and at least stage 3 YB transplant

yeah he's selling his BMW cos he's getting a place of his own. He posted a thread on here about it the other day. Think he's sold it to his parents or some kinda arrangement so he can still use it for special occasions, lol and he now has their old Escort GTi, which I think he plans on using until he's settled next year some time and then he'll most likely get an M3 or something
so yeah, he seems to have got thru a lot of cars in a short space of time, ll

I was always gonna be about on here, just not so much cos of my ties elsewhere, lol
I like the MaxiF2 Kiy proper nice... but i dont u nderstand why you want to fit a cosse floorpan and engine??? Ideally if you really wanted to do this, it should be done at the same time as the kit....
IMO you would be better off spending your money on a nice duratec/zetec turbo conversion, 400 ponies much quicker than a stg III 4x4 Cos

but the YB switch is more cost effective, and simpler to hand over to someone with a donor vehicle and get them to do
Ultimately, I plan to switch to something else for it eventually. Maybe a non-ford engine

Have you properly researched it?? I wont be a simple unstich restich job... Different wheelbase, different track, different bulkhead, inner wings, front panel, etc etc... complete floorpan of a ECos is different to that of a normmal MK5
