just took an engine out of my mates wifes evo 6.. the bottom end had a very very slight noise so she bought an evo 8 engine to stick in it.. the 6 engine has done about 80k miles and apart from the slight noise is mint.. comes with all the manifolds and pumps etc. but i dont know of any decent mitsi sites!
you lads got any ideas or know anyone that wants one ?????

dont know if it makes any differance now but the engine was tuned by ralliart and had uprated con rod bolts(obviously not uprated enough)lol..

the rubbling that they get is usually down to someone overrevving them,, live going into 3rd from 110 mph upto a roundabout, i wish my yb used as little oil as my 4g63

question is how much is a fucked engine worth


who ever buys it has to rebuild it anyway so its worth scrap, the manifolds ect would be worht money as maybe the pistons but if there standard again then im sure there pointless

i think a fucked YB engines go for 100 quid, but the cranks and rods are in demand if they have no grind on em

 

ginge I sold my old YB block for over 200 quid
