Ive had a lengthy conversation with Piper Cams, and my understanding was that most people opted to use standard cams for upto 400BHP......

However, Piper says this is not the case, and the Cosworth Cam is one of there best selling ones

I'd like to know therefore in order to respond to Piper's claim just how many people are using Non standard cams.......

STANDARD until headwork / above 400bhp . The OE cams are MEGA and you're wasting your time changing them with 803 injectors or below.

Std cams, T34, light Blues MINIMAL headwork 375 on the Dyno

mountune ones i think.. not the K series though .. or are they!

Copying others wont really help unless you know how they are timed in, run a set of BD14s with too much overlap and you will end up with a car thats way down on power in the midrange for example.

What is it you are trying to achieve, and whats your current spec?

I would worry less about what others are doing and more about what you actually need for your own purposes.
