why is my heater only giving out luke warm air in my saff cos? i was cold on the way to donny today

 

knackered or no thermostat

if temp gauge is in nomral position, then it's a blocked heater matrix, air lock, or ur running low on water.

 

the temp gauge is in norm position,water lev is fine and sure theres no air lock,how do i tell if heater matrix is shagged???

Does it have a blue oval badge on the front ?

 

not sure mate but will check tomorrow

 

i have a similar prob, my matrix is fine and i have a thermo, there is no air lock and im not low on water but i also get colder air out of one side of the vent

 

,we need it sorting mate with the cold coming

 

funny that this post is up as ive been out inmy s2 tonight and cant get hot air in the car. ok, my middle 2 vents are no longer there due to gauges now there but air comin out the other 2 vents is only a tiny bit warm.

i know my heater matrix needs replacing as its dripping. could this be whats causing no real heat?
