Default Quick Shift and Fuel Cap

Just after your opinions on quick shift linkage?! And what are they like to fit.

Also, does anyone know if you can get the proper alloy fuel cap kit for s2? The ones with complete surround and cap, used to cost about £110 ish.

Don't bother with the fuel cap...aftermarket caps are more trouble than they are worth

IMO, there's nothing wrong with the standard gear selector mechanism, they are just very old and tired. A completely reconditioned one isn't that bad at all. If you want something evenmore snappier, then the Puma selector might be worth considering. Around 70-80£ from Ford and has a really good feeling and short travels. Nearly plug'n'play to an S2.

Quick Shifts are the bollox. Just make sure you buy a decent one. I love my B&M.

fuel cap,i asked,the best ive seen is in deemon tweeks,but you have to search hard for them!i just welded mine up,i was pissed off,trying to sort mine.the surround and locking neck was fooked totally. coz some blirt had fitted a dimma stick on water trapping cover,helping it rot no end.
