You make paint dont you?


Could you tell me how to get a decent green

I've been playing around with colours and I cant make the type of shade im after

This is the sort im after...




Been using Blues/Yellows and Whites

What am I doing wrong

Just finishing my private jobs


and the bloke wanted that shade... been trying to make it,And its not happening

 

If u add black it will tint it darker..go careful though as a little black will make all the difference.....Add yellow to try and lighten it up...

 

 

its like a darkened kawasaki green, what u painting rad?

 

Surely you will be able to get a RAL colour that shade?

Have a loook through some Merc Vito chips .....

Bet I can find one

What mixing scheme do you use???

 

Never knew that

We dont, we get it in mixed, we use 2 pack poly

 

So what are you mixing together ?? your hobby humbrols

 

I reckon you will get that colour out of a straight "green" tinter mate... trip to the paint shop I reckon

 

No was just using the colours to play with a shade of green...


I know its not the best way to do it

I knew Mercedes would come up trumps...

For a non metallic green have a look at these colour chips at brown brothers etc...
