As for spares, i would hardly call them spares, most tat, apart from the odd good traders there most of it was Max Power stuff.

but i think i must have seen about 2 stools with cossy bits on, and when i say bits, i mean about 10 items.

All the rest was for mk1 & mk2 escorts and some other oldies.

No big spares traders there at all.

I would have liked to buy something to purely justify the journey and the Ł8 entrance fee for a room that was no bigger than my fookin lounge

Best thing i saw there was a artist and his pencil drawings some Fords, which i will be commissioning him for a special one of my car

Well there was track action going on but you couldnt view it.

kind of dissapointing.

Certainly wont be going to donno again untill national day.

 

Whereabouts in Hampshire are you then, I know from bournemouth/ish area it took me over 3 hours IIRC to get to Donno last year

I went last year and was also fairly underwhelmed

Years ago it would have been a valuble show but with the internet (ebay, pf, rsoc bb etc) you don't need to trapse to some autojumble to get the hard to find bits you need.

Plus anything rare gets ebayed to make the most cash I expect. just leaves the crap for the show!

There were new bits on stands, but those bits were all new items that you can buy over the phone any day of the year anyway.

 

i stopped going a couple of years ago too.if you find something you want,it's normally overpriced,then add travel/petrol/food/entrance money,you've spend a small fortune

I was there today Had a great view of the track from the sunday market end

Not many good stalls or traders imo and Ł1200 for FRS trim

 

Fuck me, wouldnt want to follow you up there if it only took you 2 hours!

 

this is exactly the problem and traders want so much for items they unpack them at the beginning of the day and then pack them up at the end of the day show after show and then moan at how bad sales were

ebay has a lot to answer for!

Few decent motors on there, well prepped clio, evo couple of scoobs, Tiffs 205 etc...

Yep the jumble show was shite as usual. Took me 20 mins to get round it all and have an overpriced burger.

you passed me early on we was on the fordsport stand with 2 saphs you walked past with a minter but i was in mid chat then seen you drive past but i wasnt about to give chase lol

altho i did impulse purchase a lot of bits and bobs, and came away 80 quid lighter
