would the track action be stopped........ie if pissing down would it be deemed unsafe.

its my first show of the year and i want to see some good racing,anyone on track from pf to look out for.

 

i am on track in a metro!!

 

The rain (IF it rains) would have to be quite heavy for the track action to be stopped. More a problem of visability (not being able to see the flag marshals), the action would then be stopped om safety grounds.

BTW.......They say it is a track day - SO. NO RACING ALLOWED!!

However, those that you should look out for on track that would deffo LOOK like they we're racing would be PF peeps like:
Marco (3 DR)
Phil 2400 (saph RWD)
Simon SECS (Es Cos)
Martin Hadland (Metro!)
Eagle (Saph 4 x 4)
...........And all those that post below because I left them out of this list

why the metro and not the reyland cossie.....does my memory serve me correct...did the cossie break down last year at the first main corner from the start line.

The Reyland Es Cossie is no more, Martin had a huge accident on the Gumball 3000 in that very badly damaged the car, and resulted in Porkie being in hospital for a long time.........However, the car is being re-shelled AFAIK.....

Last time I was at Combe it rained so heavily that you could hardly see where the track went!

BUT they didn't close it and that Gaz bloke from CPP was out in his Evo on wet slicks. He was sooooooooooo fast it was scary. fair play to both the car, the driver and his bollocks

 

JUst been watching some GT Racing @ Castle Combe, it was raining very heavily and visbility was quite bad before they RED Flagged it......

And its Very clear tonight! So hopefully it will hold out tomorrow too!
