Default What a Relief!!! My dad has got the all clear !

God what a few weeks we have had. He had been having trouble in the urine department a couple of months ago. Went for some tests doing etc and they came back about a month ago. They showed some abnormal cells etc and it was a very big chance it was cancer ....so much that we were convinced it was...especially has my grandad(his dad) died of prostate cancer

Anyway today he had to go in for the biopsy results....we were expecting the worst..
I got a call at work from my mum and he got the all clear I was so relieved it was like a ton had been lifted of my shoulders...

Trying to lay bricks after the call with eyes full of tears was very hard but at the same time i was just buzzing

Aww mate I'm proper stoked for ya. That's fantastic news

It's funny isn't it, how we all get worked up so much about our cars at times, we forget about real life and that a broken car isn't the be all and end all.

Well done mate, really really pleased for you.

thanks mate. 3rd time unlucky as she got all clears twice before when there was a scare, so I know the feeling from both sides of the fence, such a relief when the result is what you were hoping for and when it's not, it just leaves u feeling plain empty

testing times in this life, but it's amazing how many people are or have been in similar situations when u talk about it

Good news Lee, it's something that is really bad on the family not just the patient. My mum is currently recovering from cancer and my dad had a cancer scare similar to your dads whilst my mum was undergoing treatment - that nearly killed me

Excellant news there ,chuffed for ya

My girl is currantly in london gettin brain scans deep in the head and london is the only place that has this ( extra special scanner) so i am waiting on the results of this as she had to get a tumor removed 2 weeks ago that was caused by a very nasty accident on the m8 and its been one hell of a rollercoaster ride for her so far ,acoma, heart attacks, memory loss then a tumor ,this was 8 hrs op then another nasty heart attack and needed resusatated so just hoping all is okies now so hopefully she can be home for xmas !!

All this is due to a scumbag that was in a stolen lambo and driving like a prick ,never been caught and never will ,just aswell for his or her sake ,also this killed another motorist aswell
