throttle cable fitting to saphire do u need

any special tools at toll to fit em as the cable that goes onto the accelerator keeps poping of the ball joint thingy?
help please

NO special tools m8! there SHOULD be a metal clip that holds the cable to the ball on the end of the pedal

not on mine there aint mate do i get one from fords and how bout the actual butterfly end the inlet manifold is that the same should that have a clip 2?

Both ends should have a slide on clip that clips round the ball shaft. From the side they look like a 'D'. The same shape as the plastic end of the cable.
