Default Hot Start help!

When ive been driving my ERST and its got up to temp, if i turn it off and try to start it again it is a real pain to get going again! has anyone had this problem before!

change ur starter motor or go to fords and get the heat sheild

As alex said change the stater they get heat seize thats why they are hard to start when there hot

The starter motor is brand new and so is the dizzy , the cap and rotor arm they have only done 300 miles as im still running new motor in. wondered if it could be one of the sensors or something like that?

My starter was new & done the same. Heat shield it mate!

mine does the same, got no shield either, will i get away with out getting a new starter if i jus get the heat shield? or will the damage have been done and will the starter do the same even when a little bit hot?

get a heat shield and it will be fine
