stage 1 is a proper A.P. organic centre plate and cover, A.P. rate it as an upgrade from standard for a car with minor mods, but remember a standard ford clutch is good for 200 bhp

Was it ok? Mine slips when you boot it in 5th. Just had g/box rebuild so that's ok and not leaking. S2 skimmed flywheel fitted and new S2 clutch from Ford. Have no idea what the car is running tho: hence the question about ratings.
It's done between 500 and 700 miles since fitment: thought that would be enough ? Is it ? Had gearbox reconditioned and had all new bearings and seals fitted, so I took it easy for the first few hundred bedding both in with easy, slow-time early gearchanges, but gradually have become a bit more forceful with it (so-to-speak) if you know what I mean. Not that i'm saying I've abused it, but don't go all cotton-wool on it at times.
