say you've been waiting for an 2wd cossie intercooler(for example) for your XR2turbo to come back from a fabricator. your dad(who dosnt live with you) has arranged all this for you as he know the bloke well. you explain to your dad that it need extending by X amount on both sides and the end caps modding. (showing various pics and giving him them for reference)

now i've hasseled him all the time to get this back so i can crack on and finish the mk2. everytime he answers the phone stating with an excuse(this is me dad BTW) finally after 2 months it comes back. upon the first milisecond of seeing you can tell that its all gone horribly wrong.

when measuring up to the front pannel its way out, then i realise that its twice the length on both sides that i'd measured up and told him. the end caps have not been change either simply moved along

now what would you do.

1) listen to your dad who tells you that its ok as you can work arround it using some "elbows", and be ok with it
or
2) accept the fact that your dad has always let you down, accept the cooler and go and get it changed causing liitle fuss
or
3) go f*cking berzerk saying that thats was not what you wanted at all its far to big AND looks totally f*cking shite!!! then proseed to tell him he's a f*cking tit and to f*ck off before you really lose the plot and kick him in on the street where he used to live. and have you mother shouting like hell from the house to calm down.

i'm sure you can tell what happened

now for your dads options, i would sugest him to get a blood test to be sure you are his kid as if hes lucky he mught find out you are really a bastard child you come across and then he will be able to understand how he managed to get lumbered with a discrace of a person he has to address as "son"

in all honesty mate if your family wind you up that bad then maybe you need to spend more time away from them

i dont get along with my folks much and so i avoid them and as a result when we do see each other ( about 4 hours a month ) we are more than social with each other

not everyone in live gets a long and you cant choose your family

and on a more serious note you need to get some form of counciling as if you can switch like that on a person who you used to look up to and protected you as a child, fook knows what your road rage must be like
