Default Nos on an RST

Hi, 've just bought an 88 RST as a project. Only paid £1000 for it and have sorted out what was wrong , i.e New Loom New Brakes.
It is now pretty good, had some decent mods done to it, Forge Dump valve and actuactor, full scorpion system, samco hoses the usual will be putting in a new intercooler, but want to fit Nos anyone done this? I will be doing this myself all part of the fun!!! Just need some help on best kit to get and any problems I can expect to come across??

Than ks

how much bhp you planning to get from the NOS. If quite a bit you'll need to uprate bits in the engine

Nos is a great buzz while it lasts. But its an ongoing cost to keep your car that fast.

With the cvh engine i wuold just uprate the components to produce the power you want. I found that i just kept spending loads on refills which money i could have spent on making my engine produce the power 100% of the time. Its "fake" power imo, but a nice feeling

Im think of around 250bhp, Im gonna go for an unrated head, copper gasket, uprated turbo, Pace intercooler. Ive been reading up a bit and looking forward to having some fun, will post a few pics so you can see whats been done in a couple of days, the last owner of the car was the nephew of a tuning specialist down towards exmouth will let you know the name when I look at the log book and the reciepts plus got a full service history right up to 1500 miles ago! 13100 miles worth (think thats good!)

Any ideas on what I need will be aprreciated

Help!!!

Just put the car in the garage next door to quickly change the cluch cable and the cable is to short and it looks like they had just jammed everything as far back as possible to get it to fit, what box do you think they used?? looked at cables for 1300,1400,1600,diesel all to short??

Possibly a mondeo??

Oh my god

Just been underneath the car when it was up in the air and noticed it would have been a good idea that when they changed the gearbox they PUT SOME BLOODY BOLTS IN IT!!! lUCKLY THAT ISNT EVERYWHERE BUT IN THE ENGINE BAY, hopefully the cable might fit once its bolted in properly! OH the joys of older cars

Got a cable to fit have to get a standard Rs Cable and get in extended 3 inches to fit, put the bolts in the gearbox that were missing and its like butter!! Did a few tests and compared to my m8s S2, Iis like its got a six gear, good for motorways and revs for ever, dont know what box it is but if it ant broke.
