Default MFI to EFI, best route.... (conversion)

I own a 1990 s2 RST running a 2.0 zvh on the original MFI system. It runs fairly well and made 232bhp at 14psi.

I'm thinking about going for EFI and making this upgrade while the car is in the garage over the winter.

I'm not planning on running more boost, just want it to run smoother and be safer for the engine.

I've been thinking about either FRST or COSSIE management and am wondering what the difference is between these two set ups? What benifits does cossie management give over frst?

I'm not very familiar with this conversion so am looking for as much info and advice as possible.

Cheers for your help, Mark

Yes, don't want to spend thousands converting it cos i'm not going to be upping the spec of the engine any more, not in the near future anyway.

Just looking for a reliable upgrade from the old mfi system, something a bit safer for the engine.

Cheers

Well some people may say why upgrade if it's not to up the power. However I think you'd benefit from changing to a fully mappable management system

you need xr3i efi loom, fit the whole lot, no pissin about.

you will need to change the plug on the map sensor, its the same as the one to your brake bottle. and the clocks from 3i as the rev counter wont work for some reason.

ofab fezzy turbo ecu and a chip/injector package from ahmed.

job done!!!!
