yeah there some right arseholes out there!! trying to keep shitty mopeds out etc and get the serious modders about. looking for venue now but will make sure it good! just finding out how many interested!

 

Would be good to have a local meet , as said before an enthusiasts meet would be preferable to a 'cruise'

We're trying to bring it a little closer to home, not to say we're steering away from the larger scene. But sometimes other places are too far to travel balancing it between work and other commitments

trading estate's too bait, the feds are always around there, but the dorney road towards Eton Wick is an option worth considering, as there's a car park with a pub right opposite conveniently!

 

how about new tescos? their carparks lit and 24hrs!! good oppurtunity for pics

 

can be considered, but the tesco's lot are bunch of ******'s, last time me an a few mates where there, they threatened to call the police jus cos our music was a bit loud and so were the 'zorsts...

 

hows about upton court park? i used that for an e30 meet when i owned1 was good up there plenty of space no disturbances

windsor's ok but too many lil rudeboys hang out there, plus the police been really funny lately with loads of cars around, they been blocking us in and giving us all producers and telling us to move on one by one... damn rozzas... n I'm training to be one? Time to reconsider maybe me thinks...

Anyways, we should have a location set up, and we'll probably be meeting up around the end of this month (nov) so watch this space, we'll keep you posted

My thoughts exactly been running the meets round here for over 5 years now ... and for over a year or so the frogs and paddy help run it as well ..just wondered whats wrong with this one or if you've ever been to it for you to try and start up a new one

 

The meet in Arborfield isn't exactly far guys...

As Nath said, he has been running it for nearly 2 years ( in January! how fast did that go!! ) and a lot of people from neighbourly counties / meets / planets make the effort to come and visit. Heck, if the Essex lot manages to come up, I am sure you can make the journey from Slough! It can get pretty busy, even during the winter.

There are also a lot of various meets people go to (Pf Essex, Pf Middlesex, RSOC Middlesex, Pf Surrey, RSOC Surrey...) and you will find that the "monthly meet calendar" is already pretty full. If you want people to attend, you might have trouble finding a suitable date

C'mon guys, we don't bite!! Join us at the next Pf Berks meet so we can show you how much of a nice bunch of lads (and ladettes ) we are!!

 

Don't worry we're not pulling away guys. We're trying to get a way to know the local guys, maybe even pull together a convoy to come to the other meets!

With all due respect to Nath & Mrs Frog, for someone like me for example, I've only been a member of PF for a few months, so to turn up to Reading which is about 35 miles from here not knowing anyone can feel awkward even though I'm sure everyone's friendly, so this is a good way for me personally anyway, to get to know people beforehand and have ppl to come up to Reading with! Which hopefully I will do on the 30th

 

i agree. we not trying to steal the lime light. Just feels awkward when you dont know anyway. once we have 1 or 2 meets and we know people hopefully there will be a group of us coming up to get to know the rest of ya. I wanted to come to reading last couple of months but couldn't get anyone to come up too so bottled it, LOL

 

i didn't know anyone at the berkshire meet, but turned up on my own for the first time last month and was made to feel very welcome by everyone. and i'm normally quite shy, so just give it a try.

 

I'll be there, I'm sure s2_rsturbo will be too if he's about and probably a few others of us from down here

me too on here as well m8 look at my post count , although i've known nath for a few years and went to the meets at the the greyhound before this one. great people and worth the trip, if your that shy then stay at home but they really are a nice lot

 

currys is always locked up now. what you think about dorney. nice car park just near sainsbury's?

 

I'm coming to the meet deffo, just thought it would be nice to go up with a few people before hand, a lot of the ppl in this post live on me own estate
