my s1 runs a fraction below half way on the temp gauge is this
normal ? i have changed thermostat and flusshed system,
can i get a lower temp stat for the summer as i think it will run even hotter then
any advice appreciated

 

Just below helf way is normal for cruising.

If you have an 88 degree stat in the car then you can fit an 82 degree stat if you want. Available from APT (traders on here).

 

cheers mate just bought car might get a lower temp 1 for the summer

 

I found bonnet raisers bring the temp down quite a lot.
