Default 1.6 mk3 escort, any good?

my dad has seen one of these parked up down the road and its for sale,

Just wondered if anyone has any views on these like are they pretty nippy, parts, decentish mods etc etc ??

This one if light blue i think and has only done 30,000 miles or so
Anyone got a guide price of what it should be?

Thanks Alot!

yup should do, i've them fitted to escorts before. not so easy getting hold of a full kit though probably be cheaper/easier just to get urself a rst lump.

get urself some twin carbs or even 40's if you dont mind the fuel bill

£500-600 is a bit rich imo...

I wouldn't pay more than £250 with MOT!
