I use the same type as Eagle,big suction pad onto the front or rear screen,also has a clamp for a roll bar, its made by Manfrotto.

Some of the best vids I've seen (quality and clarity wise ) were those taken from Roscos M3 CSL at National Day. He used a suction mount off his rear screen I think. They seemed to come out really well

Simon, Those type of devices are (scuse the pun) being clamped down on. And if spotted by an official it could be asked to be removed

 

Tony i used it at Brands a couple of weeks ago & they must of seen it stuck to the rear window as they collered me on the way out of the pits to sign a form to say i would only use the footage for my personal use/viewing. Didn't have any probs.

personally, i find the results from a bullet cam better. and you can mount it different places for each session so that you can edit together a more interesting movie
