hi can anyone tell me how to check my throttle position senser ive been told u use a multimeter but thats as much as i know lol!the car seems to be holding back on boost but not all the time my friend had the same kind of problem and on his the fuel wasent being enriched on boost due to the throttle position senser being fooked any help would be great thanks
To be exact, ERST doesnät have a throttle position sensor. It only has a throttle position switch that detects WOT and idle. So just two switches in one package. When you move the throttle directly from the cable you should be able to hear a "click" when you reach WOT or idle.

IF IT DOES NOT CLICK DOES THAT MEAN ITS NAKERD?I HAVE BEEN TOLD U CAN CHECK THE OHMS OR SOMETHING ALONG THEM LINES WITH A MULTIMETER.WHEN SHOULD THE SWITCH CLICK AND IS THERE A SPOT ON PLACE IT SHOULD BE SET UP TO AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY POWER ENGINERING THAT IT INRICHES THE FUEL BY A CERTAIN PERSENTIGE
u can check with a test light, ingition on, and push the probe of the test light into one of the wires then pull the throttle open and the light should light up if working correctly
it does enrichen the fuel as jesseT says, it sends signals to the fuel ecu, for idle, part load and full throttle.
