Does anyone know how many Escort Cosworths are on the road today?

I know its not alot of help back in june 2000 there was 1,458 large turbo models and 242 small turbo models left in the uk but that was 4 years ago.

 

There are a few in Italy.

 

Blimey,, is that all! it dont seem many

 

I can tell you that there are less than 40 of them in the whole France, one of which is mine

How did you find this out as I'm also interested in seeing how many remain in Belgium.
A wild guess would be approx. 25-30 at most if that many.

 

i have a very good friend who works at vehicule number plate identification (a la préfécture )

i asked him to do a search on the whole territory of France about how many Escort Cosworth where registered, simple as this

 

I thought they made like 6,000 of em. So how many are left in total then? I heard about 4,000

1,151 were registered in Germany.
1992: 374
1993: 376
1994: 213
1995: 171
1996: 13
1997: 4

Have no idea on the rest of Europe though as that was the only information Karmann could give me.

I heard last year there was only about 800 left in britain due to crash,rally and twoc incidents

 

if thats true, then there are not many left.
