RS won't start?
Posted on behalf of a mate...
ot a series two rs turbo, it's been stood for just over a week, tried to start it this morning - nothing, doesn't even turn over.
Changed the battery to a new one, and put a re-con starter motor on, still nothing is happening.
It's driving me mad, no problems before-hand in the last few weeks to indicate something was up, it's been starting first time, every time, until now.
It was compression tested just over a month ago, 150 across all four - about as perfect as it could be, no mixing or overheating either, and the car runs fine, apart from a blow from the exhaust manifold gasket.
Any one have any ideas?
Many thanks in advance!
