they get all huffy when the slips dont arrive in time although the wages havent changed for the last 8 months, obviously some people do a bit of over time but come on its only gonna be like an extra 100 or something

I am the managing director of AFRacing Ltd.. I am also a consultant for BMW!

I manage on 4k a year... but only because every month my company makes a good profit and as I have the only share I get a nice bit extra

I'm in the same boat, I always get excited when the payslip arrives, I'm always working overtime, I don't think I have ahd 2 consecutive pays the same for the last 2 years! Still not enough though!

 

I like the Tax Man...

First, he only wants 18% of my wages, which is ok. Then he pays me to travel to work, for the shoes I wear at work, for the tools I buy, even down to the Bacon roll I have for breakfast.

Then, once sometimes twice a year, he adds up how much I have spent on these work related goodies, then he writes me a cheque, and I make the car a little faster.

I think so. It isn't that bad for you employed guys, but the Tax Man can ask to see my books up to 3 years. I just let my accountant handle everything.
