How do you get permission/authority to get down trackside for shooting?

I have a S3 pro camera. As for getting on the track I get a pass through a friend who has contacts, He gives me the pass and i give him all the pictures from the day for his web site.

I'd like to get access down trackside. Mind you, my pics didn't come out too bad from the lower grand stand balcony

Yes looks a good camera, now adays you can get great pics with out spending to much as you know.
