over run??smoke!

Default over run??smoke!

what could cause smoke on over run in a cossie ??
turbo is fairly new,got some valve stem oil seals in case its that but have resently been told that oil seals are more on start up??
syrely rings would be constant and not overrun??
any help appreciated

Mine does the same with recent rebuil, turbo etc. I am just putting it down to cossies being old and shit

HeHe My saying 'wheres there smoke theres power' my old saff smoked on overrun, with new engine build and new turbo, every cossie i see puffs a bit!

the only cossie's that don't smoke are small turbo esc cossies
think ford had the breathers sussed by then!

Clive don't worry most if not all do it, and you can't beat the smell of "cossie " when following one!! lol

i would say valve guides, mine does it too i use nearly as much oil as fuel

valve guides / stem seals are a favourite if its blue smoke.

you sure its not just overfuelling, which most cossies do at high rpm on the overrun?

didnt do it befor though and didnt do it on the way to or from nat day steve.

Chip it is defo overfueling so will have to get it set up properly
