glad i didnt bother now imagine a grand prix in London you would have to shut the place down for a month or so to setup and take down be real to much city money would be lost

All this bollox about moving the British GP to a London street race like Monoco.... Bollox - they won't do it...

It's fine in Monoco - that ain't a 24/7 city with major traffic probs like London. It don't matter if you shut off sections of it a month or so in advance to re-surface the roads and put in kerbstones. Imagina London having that done!

The other reason is the guvorment(sp) won't pay the MILLIONS of pounds it will need to resurface EVERY road the F1's would use, making sure they are dead smooth and level with proper quality tarmack, and take up normal kerbs in favour of slanted race kerbs. Nor does London have the space for any spectators, or crash barries and kitty litter for when the go off track ant over 180mph....

It';; never happen. Mark my words....

Be ace if it did tho

AFAIK, its gonna be on tv saturday too...... Keeps yer eyes peeled you might see me

Yup went, was pretty good I reckon, I didnt necessarily go to SEE the cars..... just to experience it and HEAR them again.... That sound is unequaled.... The MERC pace car sounded the absolut bollox too, he was giving it more beans than the F1 cars it seemed!!

I ended up outside Aquascutum, on Regent street, at glasshouse street......

FasterFords, no need for a press pass mate, THAT was how close the cars were!!!....

My phone network kept going down, didnt even bother trying to get home when everyone left, apparantly alot of Underground stations were closed after six, due to overcrowding and Susanna got evacuated from Bond street tube!!

Saw a couple of rows break out too, Susanna saw someone get bottled WTF!!

We just met up after, and stayed up there till last train
