converting 2.9 xr4x4 to 24v cossie

Default converting 2.9 xr4x4 to 24v cossie

can u use the sump from the 2.9 engine and bolt it straight onto the cossie lump and also will the cossie engine bolt straight onto the manual gearbox,would the flywheel and clutch work aswell,any help is much appreciated cheers

Yes, but you need to fit 2 oil returns to it


and also will the cossie engine bolt straight onto the manual gearbox,would the flywheel and clutch work aswell
yep use the 12v flywheel + cluth and startermotor ( escort cos clutchs also fits meant to be stronger)

Also engine mounts off the 12v, arms and rubber bits

passenger side exhaust will bot up,driverside needs to be cut bodged and welded

powersteerings a combo of bothe 12v and 24v bits

Its a good conversion. With a cheeky little chip (i've got one of Stu's Evo chips) they go pretty well.
