1.9 bottom end
How much roughly does it cost for a 1.9 bottom end/short motor? And is there a lot of work involved or does it go straight on the 1.6 head? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers
Go direct to Ian Melville @ specialized engines he built my trackday 1.9 about 2 years ago & it was mint.
It's as easy to fit as a 1.6, but you may find the cam belt a bit tight, & you may have to create a home made oil return pipe (from turbo to block) but thats all. Mines done approx 5000 track miles & has been golden, no oil leaks or any sillyness like that. (plus it looks like a 1.6....)
Good luck
