extra wires on my loom were do they go :cry:
i have refitted my engine loom but on the the bit that goes to the coil i have 2 long pieces of wire with nothign on the end
cant remember were they came off
its not the temp sensor for gauges or the amal valve
the fan and coolant temp sensor are all plugged up also
anyone got any ideas ?

what colour are they? what stylee connectors?
is it a 4x4 engine loom or 2wd? 4x4 have the oil pressure (blue wire?) and something else (can't remember) on the engine loom, but 2wd have these on the car loom. have you got a combination of the 2 looms?
the longest on the engine loom are the temp and amal, after that you've got 2 for coil.

the wires are both black and have no connectors on (bare wire)
2wd engine loom
the amal valve and temp sensor wires come from the injector loom bit
these come from the wires going to coil

that's not normal. could be something to do with an alam that has been previously fitted?
anyway, they're definitely not meant to be there.
unless they're from an octane selector or supressor, but then they wouldn't be long ones.
stick a meter on them to see if they do anything with the various key positions. apart from that, leave them off and see if the bugger runs.
