ea tis a shame dave, thing is though it was just to fast to really enjoy on the road and it was worth to much to really push it on a track

The T9 gearbox will die, with over 200bhp from the 24v.

oh make sure you get the lump with the wiring loom and all the modules, edis6 being the main hard one to find!
You'll be needing the engine mounts off the 2.8, so dont bin them, or anything till its done.
Take it you built your westfield? If so fitting the 24v wont be hard to do,
several people on interford have copys of the wiring looms, including myself, mine are a bit covered in crap
, but if you have no luck sourcing them elsewhere, i can photocopy them, and post them, if i cant get the scanner to work that is!

those pics remind me of how much i hated my XR4i
speak to bernie about the gearbox mate, he sells RWD MT75s off the shelf (tis what ive got, but not made by bernie)
everyone else has provided the other relevant info, wiring aint as hard as youd think and 90% of it will bolt straight up. you miht have to raid a scrapyard for a few bits but nothing major, maybe a hose or something.

500quid?! Can't go wrong with that!
Not sure I see what you're saying about the Westy being too fast for the road though? (not that I driven anything with that kind of capability for more than a few minutes)

ok cheers for all the help guys
fil, hold that thought on the wiring diagrams mate, may take you up on it
keith, the westfield is to fast for the road as your only on the throttle for a few seconds at a time then breaking like fook for the corner
at least with less power your really pushing the engine so it feels faster, westfiled very rarley gets full chat on high boost on twisty sections of road
and no im not a pussy behind the wheel before you say it
