Default -31 actuator on 4x4 cossie

Is there any way of telling the difference between a standard actuator and a -31 actuator as they all look the same to me and I have a funny suspision that my car isn`t standard, but I bought it as standard!!

It's hard to see any difference.

But, there is one! The bar of the original actuator is difference of length if you compare it to a -31. The tread-bar of the -31 is shorter then the original.

But, unfortunately is hard to say, because some people shorten those bars

I hope you'll understand my explanation

there should be a number on it somewhere that says ********-18-**** or *******-31-******* etc, i think it is stamped on the front of it, but it can be quite hard to find as it is small writting and they do get dirty
