yeah, rang them up the other day while i was at work. have to wait a few weeks tho cos production hasnt began again yet since they been bust. so lots of other companies arent sellnig cages yet either cos they cant get hold of them
from memory the cage is about 319 from roll centre, but they dont do the rear X they only do the single diagonal.

Cost about Ł400 I think...cheapest place to get them new is Peter Lloyd Rallying [same Ł as SD without the VAT]

Thats the cage with a few mods.

I have added a bar across the front to brace the A post legs - onto this several upturned M6 bolts were welded to use as earthing points for the electrics behind the dash
Its braced through to the front turrets. A rear bracing bar was added to the B legs low down behind the seats. The rear back stays were moved off the cars inner wings (as these are not strong points) and joined onto the rear diagonal and added strut brace. All cage "feet" or legs are built up onto strong boxes welded to the chassis rail sections as again the floor isnt that strong.
A little over the top for a track car, but may give you some ideas ??

As for the dash fitting you only need to nibble away at the top corner of the dash

Then the fun part begins

Dosn't get in the way once complete - and I dont keep banging my knees getting in and out

Hope that helps some more mate

NUTS RuS pics are great thanks mate, really helpful. like the idea of the m6 bolts on the A pillar strengthening bar
good info in there too, deffo think its a bit ott for my road/track car, but gives me some more things to think about
