i no fook all about vw cars ..its a yellow pic of a engine on the dash with

a lightning strike through it ???

checked his oil water and brake levels all ok ...

any ideas what it is hes 72 and dont want him driving if its dangerous

Sounds like an engine managment light

 

engine managment fault i think, often just a sensor failed.

sometimes puts the car into limp home mode which makes it a bit shit, but driveable just fine.

needs to go down the dealers.

i ment its a petrol car not diesel ..ie NOT HEATER PLUGS LIGHT
