Default Norris Designs Evo does a 9.7 qtr today!

Just got back from japfest ,what a day plenty of big hitters there But car of the day has to be Simon Norris and his evo 9 who managed to do a 9.7 and a 9.8 qtr with the highest terminal of 148mph

Think this is the first european evo to do a 9 So well done Simon

Sounds like it's working then, aint you seen it yet Rad, its the short wheel base 3dr shell he's made!

Chopped 9 inches off the rear or something like that, it weigh's in at only 1080kg (dry) , oh and it has 841bhp!!!

Most impressive out of that lot are the scooby's IMO, awesome for them to run 9's!

Must be serious power and transmission there running!

thought you would of been there steve?? Some great times and I had one of the best views as i watched every run from the startline. CRD's supra broke at a 1000ft and rolled the last 320ft making the 9.8 even more impressive.

Danny, did you take a close look at the cage in the evo today?

I have to say that I think stevie wonder must have welded it with a stick

welder

Can't take away from the performance though, spoke to simon and he

reckoned he was only running 2.00,60 fts

124@ the 1/8th,145@ the 1/4

great show though, considering the car had only done 1 mile before the

1st run

Amazing car, however what is more amazing is the fact a car with that spec and money thrown at it is running times circa Treetop, Andy Forresters Impreza STi with way less money/spec
