LOL i know what you mean mate. Most of the quickest fords are in Malta and Norway 8's and 9's over there. But they are proper drag style cars.

well i dont know about the quickest but i bet mines the slowest

 

Mines never done an actual 1/4 mile in earnest. Did 500m at totb1.
The time quoted was at Brunters on the 200mph day. This was on 200+ gearing with tyres at 40psi after the Topspeed run. Have 15" Road legal drag tyres to do the quarter at totb3 but the run lasted 5secs .
138 is a fast terminal & suggests a 10 would be posssible with grip from decent tyres. May go to the pod at some stage & try for a 10.
At the mo 210 is more important than a 10.
Although the quarter is slow it still reached 180 in 21.2 which is quick.

 

Wouldnt quite say the 1/4 is slow, slower than others but I dont know of another Saph that got close to an 11.5/138mph 1/4!

180mph in 21secs is just rude, that would do for me whatever I drove! lol Til I got bored of it!

Theres a Green mini with the engine in the back used to be an RS turbo CVH lump now its Zetec turbo power,it run a 9.90 recently at pod,sod that in a mini

 

it would help if any of them would use them in anger rather than sticking them in the car park! not getting at everyone but i went to york today and out of the whole pack that were running there were no cossies running at all,two focus rs's and a couple of frst's and erst's.oh,and one 2.0 twin cam sapph.
went to look in the car park and found one 24v 4x4,two three door cossies and one sapph cossie,why wont they run? dont want to break it maybe? are they that unreliable when thrashed?
loads of scoobys,one evo,couple of supras,an m5,a few probes and mazda's.
dont seem to see many cossies racing at all up here.is it the same down south?

Pretty much the same down south mate. You see all the big powered cossies with a mortgage amount of money thrown at them parked up in the car park!!!
What a waste,if their cars are so quick like they quote in the mags,then why not show everyone how it goes???
