anyways i was down the beach cruising stopped at the lights and a very tidy S1 pulled up beside me, got a pic of my mobile but not good, wondering if it was anyone off here,was saturday night 3rd July

Dunno whos it is but there is usually a tidy one sitting outside Town and County Porsche during the day may be the same car

 

the one i seen had nice alloys and looked totally mint

i live in aberdeen and own one, c630 psf, restoring it at the moment, also owned a black one aswell, c*** pso, its now up in thurso, now driving a s2, phil grahams old one that ava done for him

 

thats kev who works at land rover.my mate mattie works there too.and yeah could easily have bin that one at the beach.

 

Used to own one, but sold it to a guy from Wales.

Ive owned a fair few S2's etc

My brother was the guy that built the Black S1, C161 PSO

He has also had mint Black 3dr and a Mallard Escos

Ive now have flint grey got 4x4 Saph Cosworth.

Dont think the one the guy saw was kevs, there is another going about with Non standard wheels, C*** RSA

Nice to see there are still some people into older cars in and around the Aberdeen area. Used to be into MK1 XR2s with twin carbies and stuff. Then MK2 Escorts, Had 2 S2 turbos 1 mercury grey G***YOO & 1 white (now red) F***GUS, 1 RS 1600i caspian blue P**900Y now have a couple of cossies, silver 4x4 K***GSA and flint grey 2wd C*OSY. Brother had a white 2wd E3**FRS. Cant beat em.

i've seen the flint 2wd car i think have deffo seen the red s2 as well.
interesting reg on the grey s2 cos my saff was G408 YOO and hadnt seen similar b4.what were the numbers?

what was full reg of white 2wd? E399 FRS? if so my m8 gogs owns that now.anythin ya can tell about it?

 

The full number for the S2 was G662 YOO and i sold it around 8yrs ago. As for the White saff my brother bought the car from his mate who's oldman had it before him. The car ran a stage 1 super chip from almost new then when the son bought it it was put back to standard. the car stayed in standard form untill my brother bought it and we fitter an Ahmed stage 1. The engine only had a gpA gasket fitted and had never been rebuilt but was ffen quick for a 100,000K. It came in 3rd in the working class at the RSOC at ardo house when my brother had it and the trophy is still sitting in my shed. I live just south of Aberdeen.

what was mileage when he sold it,who to and when if ya dont mind?gogs bought it off our m8 rory from banchory.think its had a few owners tho.just wonderin cos u say good for over 100k and i aint sure what miles on clock are now but if you had it a while ago at 100k...

Not sure of exact millage but my bro swaped it with my mate Neil for his 325i sport and Neil then sold it to my mate Charlie who then sold it to a guy called Mark from just outside Banchory. How much did gogs pay for it?. Neil sold this car for 2K. Millage means nothing to a well looked after engine nowadays though. My 2wd has just turned 148,000. spent £600 on genuine ford parts, Rings, shells, gpA gasket set ect and its as good as new.

Cant beat em.

 

yeah think rory bought off the guy outside banchory for 2k. gogs bought for little more.

The back bumper was dammaged when my bro over cooked it a little at the portlethen flyover/Asda round about and pulled the exhaust off on the kerb. It was repaired at the time but got bust up again in the Ardo house lawn at a show.
