ok guys im after all the pictures i can get of an rs 1700T i want to either get hold of the kit from 1 or build 1 so the more refferance pics the better

ive seen a kit for sale on here a while ago but when i pm'ed the owner no reply if any 1 has a kit or knows of 1 please contact me and help me out

There is a company that still sells the REPLICA 17T kit, I'll try and find out the company but if anyone knows its the company that did the combat kit for sapphire and the wide kit for fiesta mk3.

Just to let everyone know the bodykits are still available and are made by Fibresports. I can supply these to order and delivery time is normally 3-4 weeks.

1700T body kit as originally developed for FoMoCo made to original specification comprising front bumper apron, rear bumper apron, door panels, 4 arches and a pair of side skirts Ł975.00.

1700T tailgate spolier and adjustable aerofoil Ł175.08

1700T bonnet with moulded in NACA ducts Ł217.38.

Not many made, anyone know how many genuine ones where made?

The project was scrapped when a new Ford Motorsport head took over & the RS200 developed instead.

The 200 engines made for the RS1700 were re-developed & fitted to the RS200s.

 

A guy in the UK bought that South African one and is planning on building a limited run of exact copies, plus the same with an RS200

Dont know whether its just a pipe dream or whether it will actually happen though
