Default cvh block bore

hi to all i am bouilding my engine now i would like to know if a 81mm bore the block will resist 2 bar of boost

i should think so, people run close to 2bar on here

thats alot of boost, how long u ran it like that for? any fueling mods? just interested as my tuner set my car at a max of 17 psi for reliablity but its been turned down to 12-13 and produces 200 bhp

its been on that boost for over 6 months with no troubles. I'm running low comp bottom end and the fueling is still KE Jet

thats alot for 12psi, u must extensive headwork!

not realy mate, 10000 miles on a new rebuild .5 over bore, reconned head by my tuner,chipped,camed, big intercooler,hybrid s2 water cooled turbo... thats it realy, just well set up like all the my cars have been in the past.

4x4 cossie turbo, kinda the same as a stg 3 rst T3, but the stg3 should have cutback blades and 360 bearing.

You need an adaptor to runn a Cossie style turbo...



Your not building the ZVH anymore then?

Personally I would like my block walls as thick as possible on a high power CVH.

A T34 with a 0.48 housing would work well if ur head has been ported.

You might want to look in the GT28 range for a bit more modern turbos.

thanks for all replays first i ordered 80.5mm piston bore and i think that would be safe. also i think i will go with the GT28rs for my setup
