400bhp if you're an aggressive driver 500bhp if you're conservative.

Edited to add its more to do with grip and torque but the above power figures usually fall into the correct categories.

Depends on whether the cover is the old Borg & Beck one or the shonky current Sachs item. The former, then I concur with Karl, the latter and it will struggle with 350bhp for any prolonged period (probably last less than 6k).

Sorry yep should have mentioned that I meant the borg and beck cover as current OE Ford is barely good enough for stage1!!!!!

You have to look at the cover itself and it will be have AP Borg & Beck written on it somewhere. The outerbox will still just say Ford Motorcraft though, so this is no help. However, it is now likely to just be the Sachs one, as the Borg & Beck ones haven't been available from Ford for over a year, so unless it is very old stock, you're fucked .

Nice!! if it is a sachs one but the one in the car at the mo turns out to be a b&b one would it be ok to use the old one again with the new paddle plate (car will be about 370-380 bhp)?

Depends on how many miles it has covered, but highly unlikely. Looks as though you have just wasted £100-120 .
