well once you know the full story you'll say fuck 'em as well mate

cut and pasted cos its easier lol

Just had my sisters boyf turn up in his Focus to carry something in the house, was in here 2 mins and the Police turned up and gave him a ticket for parking on a single yellow line saying they have had complaints about my road and the parking

While issuing the ticket she had to ask me what the road name was (funny how she has had complaints and doesn't even know the name)

I asked her if she was going to book the other 4 cars parked on the same side and she said yes, got in her car and drove off leaving the others...

you are legally allowed by law 20 mins to load and unload !!!!!!, just tell em it was a big screen TV and required 2 people !!!!

unless there was kurb marks then thats different

oh and before anyone claims i aiont got a clue i was a fucking traffic warden for 4 years

if the offence code is 01 ya write a letter stating you was unloading,,,, gets scrapped

if its 02 then thats a loading restriction

pm me all the details of th ticket and ill show ya the real version of the road traffic act of 1991

Ginge cheers for the advice, I went on a website that explained it all and he's gone down the station and the desk officer said it will be scrapped if he writes a letter

We had a look on the signs and theres no loading/unloading restrictions in the road so he's ok I reckon

Makes you wonder how many of these are issued and no-one fights them....

I've been told that for a yellow line to be valid it must be solid with no breaks. If it comes to an end (drain for example) it should be T'd off. If its not the whole line is invalid. This includes where paint has faded! Even if the area under the car was solid it still doesnt count.

1 percent are actually appealed in london of which 82% are scrapped

oh and 1 out of every 15 tickets issued are done accidently and are incorectly issued

and 1 in 20 are issued on purpose ILEGALLY but the councils dont care as long as they get the cash

the highest ticket issuing wardens in westminster are usually there for 6 months befoee they get sacked for issuing dodgy tickets,,,,,, takes 4 months to monitor the investigation and as a result anyone who appeals a ticket by that person will be scrapped BUT ONLY WHEN APPEALED AGAINST

the job its self is a usefull purpose,,,,,,,,, just the reason why it really is in place is to legally extort money

oh and the parking tickets, speeding,. red light cameras and congestion charge have actualy increased the number of cars unnsured and not registered in london hence the excuse to make the system harder

so as a result its caused another problem

apart from the drains that infomation is true !!!!, its called incorrect street funiture

take a piccy and ya win

reminds me of a time in westminster near hyde park there was a yellow line covered in leaves , tickets where issued and all where scrapped ( when appealed again )

OR when it snowed,,,,,,, we couldnt touch the car OR the meters

shame a few wardens choose to break the laws they actually represent
