Effects of 100mph straight into something solid -conten warn
One of those "stop and think" times, although i cant say that it will change anything i do as i dont believe i take significant risks anyway.
Imagine the suffering of his friends and family.
But this is a car reportedly crashed at around 100mph, which im sure most of us think as not particuarly going very fast.
Quite disturbing images so dont look if you are easily upset.

Might be better if this is more a condolences thread than a joking one mate, he is in the modified car scene and ths is recent, so its likely some of his friends may see this and could be the sort to be offended.

Unfortunate that he managed to twat a bridge in what looks to be the open countryside.
Can not say i am surprised to see the result TBH. i'd expect that to happen at 100 mph into a stone bridge support. Feel sorry for the friends and family though.

I dont have any details of exactly how it happened,
I guess suicide is going to be suspected in these sort of circumstances, or maybe he nodded off at the wheels, or swerved to avoid something?
I doubt anyone will have a certain answer to that TBH

I just said my thoughts were with his friends and family.
I posted the picture because it was released to show people what can happen, we all get a bit bravado at time thinking we will walk away if anything goes wrong, so i just posted to remind people that they may not.
I guess thats shock factor to a certain extent, so yes i guess thats why the pictures exist.

My sincere condolences to the guys family.
They are only high res if you click them anyway.
They were released in hi res for shock factor though i suspect, as presumabley those people close to him feel that if his death scares others into thinking a bit more about safety when driving then its something positive to come out of the whole tragic affair?

Personally I dont need graphic reminders as I have witnessed road fatalities but if it makes some of the young crackerjacks think twice its served some purpose.

these pictures were taken from a railay investigation. the guy was doing over 100 and no other car involved, had a problem at home , report via police, so as no skid marks believe it to be suicide.
