I've just started working in Wickford.

My office is on the High Street and backs onto the car park near Somerfield.

The car park is £8.50 a day!!! You can get a season ticket but in the short term I'd like to find a cheaper alternative to £8.50 a day so does anybody know of any cheaper long stay car parks in the area?

Where do you live, cant you get the train?

 

there isnt really any other car parks as that is the main one, either that or parking down residential road and walking

 

just over the main roundabout with the toyota garage on is a road that runs paralell with the dual carriage way our aunt lives off there always has people parking on it for wickford high street dont no the name of it tho

 

The wick, also down the road where the station is depending on when you get there , you can get away with parking down there

 

watch out for the pikeys

 

If I get the train I have to leave earlier in the morning and in the evening I'll be getting home over an hour later than if I drive, traffice permitting obviously.

haven't you noticed the 'no horse and cart signs' as you get to wickford as the pikeys are everywhere around that area
