Just wondering on veiws on where is the best place to get a chip for my
2wd running, greens, t34 not that happy dont know what chip is in it

Who is stu & does my car need to go to get mapped or can i just plug it in like the old one.
Is the closed loop chip better than a normal chip?

Stu from Motorsport Developments. I don't know enough about them to explain the technical stuff, but I have one in mine, and it works great Better for fuel economy, cause you don't dump half the tank through the exhaust Stu is normally on here, so I'm sure he, or someone with the knowlage can explain

Yep but without dumping petrol out the exhaust you don't get proper flames!

Well thats the thing the flames
But its not reving as well as ma escort did running greens
it was fine with the t3 but with the t34 its struggles
near 6 grand its not mapped for it it has a 044 pump
& the fuel pressure is ok.

I have one of these chips also same spec and very impressed

A lot better than my old one, not naming make to save arguments.

Unfortunately Churchy has overlooked the fact that closed loop requres an L8 (4x4 ECU) .

I can get hold of a level 8 ecu & a will buy a board its not a hastle
although mine is a 2wd engine loom do you not need to swap the
top & bottom wires on the throttle position switch?
I know you have to do a mod like that
