sapphire turbo actuator rod/turnbuckle length question
guys,
just got a standard actuator for my car to replace the -31 that was on.
went to fit it today and the rod is way too short on this, its much shorter when compared to the one on the -31 and theres no way i can get it over the swing arm.
problem is is which bit is wrong, should i have a different turnbuckle, thats longer or are these standard and its the rod thats too short.
is there anyway that the rod can be replaced and what length should i be looking at. does is just unscrew?
im checking with the seller of the part how he had it fitted, he just replaced this with a -31 so im not sure whats going on. do 2wd ones have a much shorter piece and maybe this is whats happened.
any thoughts or advice are more than welcome.
cheers guys

i have a 2wd had a standard actuator and it was a straight swap 4 a -31. the rod was the same length maybe the bit that screws onto the end is shorter on yours. my mates 4x4 is different to mine cant remember which bit though 4x4s and 2wd must b different cos the turbos r different. if that made any sence to u.
