i need to upgrade my alt , my bass amp is pulling up to 120 amps on full load , my alt i belive is 70 amps, i can get a 150 amp alt, but its 170 pounds, so is there a ford alternative i can use ??

A granada scorpio alternator is 110 amp i think.Dont know if it will need modding to fit though.

best off getting an uprated one for yours to be honest
