anyone know who owns the 2 mk3 escort touring cars in this months fast ford


would like a few questions answered?



like where did they get the side exit exhaust from?


one was a the brocklyn escort and one was privatly owned i think

I made my own side exit, its pretty straight forward

 

would need to be made to optimum performance


so best left in someone elses hands not mine


think the private one was built local to me, so would like to go visit them for other info too

 

the private one is an ex origonal touring car scott rust is the lad that owns it now . its an rs16i it was raced by patrick watts and had a richard longman engine i was in it at national day and it is so good you wauldnt beleve it . the exhaust is bolted to the floor of the car and creates alot of nois and vibration way to much fora road car but what i wauld do is ask him about the trick suspension its great and the best handeling mk3 iv ever been in he also has a s1 which he is going to set up the same

 

Longman engineering made the special bit for both those cars iirc.... as said scott r is the man to speak to.
